I joined RPI as a graduate student at the Howard P Isermann department of Chemical and Biological Engineering in Fall 2016. My doctoral research is co-advised by Prof. Linhardt and Prof. Koffas. My project revolves around modulating the metabolism of E. coli for production of chondroitin sulfate. Before joining RPI I completed my M.S (Research) at IIT Madras in India, where I worked on using the analysis of genome-scale metabolic models for strategies to improve hyaluronic acid production in L. lactis.
